Canadian Colored
Canadian Colored's interesting name derives from a supply point nearby known as the Canadian Depot that was used during the Civil War. The area, about ten miles southwest of Eufaula, was heavily populated with African-Americans and eventually became known as Canadian Colored Town and soon just Canadian Colored.
