Library Holiday Closings

All Tulsa City-County Libraries will be closed on the following days in 2007:

Christmas Eve	December 24	Monday
Christmas	December 25	Tuesday

In December, libraries will observe special hours. View holiday hours.

New Year's Day	January 1	Tuesday
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day	January 21	Monday
Presidents' Day	February 18	Monday
Easter	March 23	Sunday
Memorial Day	May 25 & May 26	Sunday & Monday
Independence Day	July 4	Friday
Labor Day	August 31 & September 1	Sunday & Monday
*Columbus Day	October 13	Monday
Veterans' Day	November 11	Tuesday
Thanksgiving Day	November 27	Thursday
Christmas Eve	December 24	Wednesday
Christmas Day	December 25	Thursday

*Columbus Day is not a staff holiday.  Libraries are closed so that staff can attend staff development.

In December the library will observe “holiday hours”:

• Central and the regional libraries, normally open on Sundays, will not offer Sunday hours during the last three Sundays in December.
  
• All libraries will close early, 6 p.m., Monday-Thursday, during the last two weeks of December.  Friday/Saturday schedule will not be affected.  Regular hours will resume on January 2, 2009.
