The library's Verbalearn database is a great way to learn new words and increase your language abilities. Verbalearn first tests what you know by asking a series of multiple choice questions about the definitions and synonyms of several words. As you answer the questions, it keeps track of which terms you've missed and which you've answered correctly. You can review the missed words via a study list to help you remember the new vocabulary. To use Verbalearn, go the Databases section of the Research & Learn tab and jump down to 'V'. When you first select the database, you will need to sign up with an account using your name, an email address and password. The account will track and save your word lists as you create them.
