The Glenpool Library will be closed April 24-29 for library improvements.
Please join us next Thursday, December 1st, from 4pm-6pm to preserve the history of Mingo Creek. Mingo Creek accounted for $125 million of the $180 million in flood damage during the 1984 Memorial Day flood. The flood killed 14, injured 288, and damaged or destroyed nearly 7,000 buildings. Bring your flood stories, photographs and documents. Staff from the Carl Albert Center will digitize these materials and record oral histories about the flood. The program will be held in the Research Department on the 3rd floor of Central Library.
