Yesterday was primary election day. It was a historic day for the City of Tulsa as we hosted our first-ever municipal, non-partisan election. As no single candidate received 51% of the vote, 2 in each category will move on to the November 12 general election.

Tulsa County Commission District 3 voted in a republican primary to see who will vie for the seat being vacated by Fred Perry. Ron Peters, primary winner, will face democrat John Bomar in an August 13 special election.
