On Tuesday, February 12 Tulsa County voters are being asked to decide school board posts in  Broken Arrow, Liberty and Berryhill School Districts.

Voters will also vote on school bonds for Jenks and Union School Districts. The bond issues don't raise property taxes because school districts pay off existing bonds as new ones are added, officials said.

Voters in Jenks will be asked to approve an $11.5 million bond issue for the purchase of textbooks, school buses, classroom renovations, safety equipment and more.

Changes Coming to U.S. Postal Service

United State Postal Service

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is set to announce the end of Saturday postal delivery. This change to delivery service is said to save the USPS billions of dollars per year, something much needed for this quasi-agency that in recent years has hemorrhaged money.

The delivery change is set to take effect August 1, 2013.
