After the sad news of Volunteer Tulsa's dissolution, potential volunteers, and organizations in need of volunteers, do still have some resources for finding each other.  Volunteer Match  is a national database with fun and friendly searches, dozens of interest categories,  mapping functions, and virtual volunteer opportunites as well.

Grant Writer's Practice Lab

Learn about grant writing and work with others who are also learning about grant writing at the Grant Writer’s Practice Lab!

This community group meets the first and third Monday, 4-6pm at Hardesty Library, 8316 E. 93rd St.

Grant Writer’s Practice Lab regularly hosts speakers on the first Monday.  Don’t miss their January 5th meeting with Julie Hall, who is in charge of $16 million in grants at the Tulsa Community College.  She’ll have a lot of good tips and tricks to share.

HECR Arts and Humanities Grants

The Higher Education Cultural Roundtable (HECR) is soliciting proposals from Tulsa-area K-12 schools for mini-grants to fund arts and humanities projects.

HECR is also seeking applications for the Martin T. Letcher Student Patron of the Arts Awards (SPOTA) from college students who attend higher education institutions in northeast Oklahoma.
