Where in the library can I find resources on national and international standards?

We have access to a variety of standards in our Research Center. You can see a list of the available standards on this handy guide. To find the guide from our home page, go to the Research & Learn tab, then look under the Research by Subject list for the link to Standards.

The front page of the Standards guide includes information on what standards are and how they came about, as well as links to several standards organizations, such as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), among others. If you click on the Locating Standards tab near the top of the guide, you'll be shown how to access various standards information through the library, either on the web, through our Research Center, or through the Research Wizard service.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the recent temporary closing of the downtown Central Library for renovation, the Research Center and Research Wizard departments have been relocated to our annex. In order to access Research materials during this closure, you will need to contact the Research Center at 918-549-7323 in order to set up an appointment.
