A few years ago many people were convinced that print books were on their way out. As e-book sales rapidly grew, those of us who are emotionally attached to print feared we would someday be forced to give up the sensuous habit of holding a physical book in our hands in exchange for a digital device that is largely devoid of personality. That assumption has mercifully proven to be false. E-book sales have plateaued and print is alive and well.
