Check out the new ways you can access eBooks and audio books through the library!
Beginning December 15th, 2010, the library will have eBooks available in an EPUB format, which means you will be able to access them on a number of different portable devices, such as the Nook, Sony Reader, iPad, Android and others, as well as from your computer’s desk top.
To get started with our new eBooks, just go to the library’s homepage and click on the ‘Audio and eBook Downloads’ icon on the left side of the page. Once on this page, you’ll see a Getting Started heading on the right side, with links providing instructions on how to download the software and check out materials. Below the Getting Started category are links that provide full lists of audio devices and eReaders that are compatible with the library’s software.
Not only that, but now you can download audio books directly to your iPhone/Android as well, using the same Media Console app that you would use for the eBooks.
