I'm looking for a good book to read. Can the library help me find something that will fit my tastes?

Well, we can certainly give it a shot. The Tulsa library offers a service called Your Next Great Read, which compiles a list of books and authors for individuals based on their personalized reading preferences.

I'd like to find out who owns a piece of property up the street from me. Can I access the County Land Records at the library?

Yes, the library does have access to the Tulsa County Land Records. Using these databases, you can look up residential and commercial properties by address, owner, subdivision, and more. You can also access the Land Records to find out information about your own property, such as square footage, year built, and tax details. If you are looking to buy a home, it's also a good resource to see if your potential new home has any existing liens before you buy.

Now you can read library ebooks in your browser without having to install additional software!

If you’ve wanted to try out the library’s ebook collection but have been wary of signing up for new accounts or dealing with downloads, then check out a recent change to our digital collection that has simplified the process. With the addition of the new Overdrive READ service, many of our eBook titles can now be read right in your web browser with no additional software to install.
