Going Green

If you receive library notifications by mail, September is an excellent time to update your library account to receive notifications via email or our automated telephone network.

Updating your contact information and switching to a more efficient form of notification will:

  • Save Time: Customers receive notices twice as fast via email and telephone.
  • Save Money:  The library will save almost $35,000 a year by notifying customers by email or telephone. The money the library saves on mailing notifications will be redirected to provide more materials and programming for our customers.
  • Save the Environment: We will use less resources for each notification sent.

Consolidate your family’s library loans and holds with Library Elf a free and easy way to keep track of what’s due, overdue or ready for pickup, plus check multiple library cards.
