The library's digital collection allows you to check out materials to read or listen to on your computer, laptop, Nook, Kindle, iPad, Android or a variety of other devices. You can access these materials on our digital media page. This catalog allows you to browse and check out ebooks and audio books, as well as download the right software needed to use them. You can use this research guide to get started. Use the tabs at the top of the page to find instructions based on the type of material you want to check out and the device that you have. You can choose to check the books out for one week or two, and the items automatically check themselves in once they hit the due date, so you don't have to worry about late fees!

Hi Nanette,

We have two services that allow you to read library ebooks on your iPad. One is called Overdrive, and the other is called Freading. Overdrive has more popular titles and authors, while Freading has more titles from smaller publishers. To download ebooks from either of these collections, go to this help guide and you'll find instructions on how to download the Overdrive and Freading apps and get started with using their collections.
