Lyn, thanks for your comment/question. Your question goes beyond information that can be provided by the library and you should consider consulting an attorney. If you need help finding an attorney, try searching Martindale-Hubbell: http://www.martindale.com/Find-Lawyers-and-Law-Firms.aspx.

What is the remedy if the Oklahoma Supreme Court makes a statutory mistake when issuing an opinion? Example: the Court said that the original case was filed after the statute of limitations has run for filing a case for wrongful death, but the date they cited was actually a refile date, not the original filing of the petition. The original petition was filed, dismissed without prejudice, and was then refiled within the timely limit of one year. The Supreme Court said the refiled date was the date of the original petition date and denied certiorari and would not allow a petition for rehearing.
