Recognizing Teen Tech Week/Month and the theme "Libraries Are for Making," teens and tweens ages 10-18 are invited to create a one-of-a-kind bookmark using their own creative talents. Bookmarks will be on display throughout the month for customers to view and vote for their favorite. At the end of the month, the bookmark with the most votes will be reproduced and made available for library customers.

Jim Butcher is a New York Times best-selling author best known for his contemporary fantasy book series "The Dresden Files." He also wrote the traditional fantasy series "Codex Alera." The Big Read program will distribute free "Wizard of Earthsea" readers guides and other materials to promote literary reading. Don't miss out on this wonderful event and a chance to meet Jim Butcher!
