Hispanic Resource Center
Educational Kits

These culture kits allow students to observe and understand the similarities and differences among different peoples of the world through ethnic artifacts and activities. The teacher's guides include information about the objects and ideas for classroom uses and discussions. The following Educational Kits are available for teachers at the Hispanic Resource Center at Martin Regional Library:

Bilingual Story Boxes - For ages 3-6

A typical box contains 7 to 12 books, a teacher’s manual of ideas and patterns, fingerplays, and a combination of cd’s, puppets, flannelgraph stories, games and possibly room decorations.

These boxes hand check for a week to two weeks from MR’s children’s desk.  We prefer that they be picked up and returned here.  Call 549-7595 for more details about a specific box or to check out.
