Family Literacy

Parental literacy is one of the most important indicators of a child’s academic success.  Nurturing a positive attitude toward reading in the home can help put a stop to the cycle of illiteracy.  The library’s Family Literacy outreach program provides parents and children with new books, information on literacy, and fun workshops about reading with children.  Literacy Staff in Dr. Seuss Hats
