Homebound Service

Outreach Services provides books for the homebound

Persons who are in their own home and physically unable to visit a library location may apply for homebound service. Outreach staff will keep all records, choose books or fill requests. Services include Books by Mail for those who qualify for Free Matter (must be visually impaired) or staff will send the books to a branch for a family member or volunteer to pick up. There is no charge for this service.

The Oklahoma Library for the Blind serves customers state wide who are visually impaired to the point where they require books on cassette or are physically unable to hold a book. Their number is 1-800-523-0288.
