WHAT ARE THE TULSA COUNTY LAND RECORDS?
This is a collection of databases created and maintained by the Tulsa
County Assessor's Office and the Land Records Department of the Tulsa
County Clerk's Office. The Land Records contain information about
properties in Tulsa County. Some ownership records in the system date back
to 1907 but legal documents (known as instruments) have only been filed in
the database since early 1987.
WHAT SERVICES DOES THE LAND RECORDS DEPARTMENT
PROVIDE?
The Land Records
Department maintains all documents filed which pertain to real estate.
This department also handles requests from the public on ownership
information and legal descriptions of real estate.
The Land Records Department can provide homeowners with a Property
Ownership Statement to make application for Homestead Exemption with the
County Assessor's Office. Application can be made throughout the year.
CAN I ACCESS THE LAND RECORDS FROM HOME?
To access the Land Records from home you must subscribe through the Tulsa
County Clerk's office. To set up a personal paid subscription account
call (918) 596-5206.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE LAND RECORDS AT THE
LIBRARY?
Access to the Land Records is available for free at all Tulsa
City-County Libraries. Customers with a valid
library card may search the Land Records on computers with Internet
access.
GETTING STARTED @ THE LIBRARY
Use your valid library card to login on an appropriate computer and then
click on the Tulsa County Land Records icon.
At the window headed Tulsa County Application Selection Menu press the letter A (upper or lowercase) on the keyboard and then press Enter. This will take you to the Main Menu of the Land Records.
