[1] The Bartlesville Library has the "Bartlesville Examiner" 1910-1958 and the "Bartlesville Enterprise" 1905-1958. In 1960, the two newspapers joined to become the "Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise," which the library has to the present. The library also has the following papers: "Bartlesville Magnet " 1898-1903, "Weekly Examiner Bartlesville" 1903-1908, "Bartlesville Daily News and Daily Pointer" 1906-1910, "Bartlesville Daily Examiner" 1909, "Bartlesville Enterprise" (weekly) 1908-1910, "Ochelata Outlook" 1910-1911, "Ramona Herald" 1911, "Bartlesville Enterprise" 1907, "Washington County Sentinel" 1911-1919, "Bartlesville Record-Weekly" 1914-1952, "Bartlesville Record-Daily" 1951-1956, "Dewey World" 1907-1909, "Bartlesville Independent & Dewey World" 1907-1909, "Copan Leader" 1910-1919, "Dewey Sentinel" 1909-1911, "Dewey World" 1910-1913, "Dewey Globe" 1911-1929, "Washington Countian" 1939-1949, "The Morning American Newspaper" 1978-1987, "The Constitution Newspaper" 1984-1986.

[2] The Bristow Public Library has the following newspapers on microfilm: Bristow Territorial Enterprise 1904-1913; Bristow Enterprise 1913-1917, 1919-1923; Bristow Weekly Citizen 1946-1947; Bristow Citizen 1947-1957; Bristow Daily Record 1922-1942; Bristow Record 1904-1933, 1943-1957; Bristow News 1948-1979, 1997-2000; Bristow Record Citizen 1957-1974, 1977-2000.

[3] Rogers State University has the "Claremore Daily Progress" on microfiche 1987-2000. After 2000, they have loose issues.

[4] The Lawton public library also has the following newspapers on microfilm: Cache 1904-1914, 1963-1969, 1978-1988; Chattanooga 1904-1929; Elgin 1905-1921; Faxon 1904-1911, 1914-1918; Fletcher 1905-1915, 1922-1934; Geronimo 1906-1912; Indiahoma 1911-1915; Sterling 1902-1905, 1909-1922.

[5] The Southeastern Public Library System of Oklahoma has various McAlester newspapers dating back to 1897, but they are missing the "McAlester News-Capital" for the years 1957-1966. However, they do have the "McAlester Democrat for those years. The SEPL has a separate Genealogical/Historical Library, and they can be contacted at (918) 426-0388.
