Are you planning on going to college? The library has resources to help!

Whether you're a high school student making plans for after graduation or an adult wanting to go back to school, the library can help you with the process of getting into college. Our Education Guide, found on the Research tab of the library's home page, has a number of resources that can be found in the College Bound menu on the left side of the page. We're thinking of home schooling our children next year. Where can we find information to help us with this decision?

The library's Research Center has consolidated a number of resources on home schooling into one place. These materials will help you not only make a more informed decision about whether or not home schooling will work for you and your family, they will also lead you to several tools on getting started, putting together a curriculum, contacting Tulsa area home school organizations, and finding local services for field trips and speakers.

School Report Cards & School Transfer

The new A-F Oklahoma School Report Cards have been out awhile. The School Report Cards allow parents and students to gauge the success (or failure) of their school or potential schools. This is the first year the school report cards have been issued on an A-F scale and there has been some confusion about the scoring.
