Video Interviews with Top Children's Book Authors and Illustrators from Reading Rockets:
Watch David Shannon, Chris Raschka, Buzz Aldrin, Avi, and many, many more of your favorite authors. Many kids are very concrete learners, meaning if they can’t see, touch, or feel, then new ideas aren’t real to them. That means many of these kids have no real idea of what an author does, and won’t be motivated to write on their own. Put real authors in front of them, and that can change.

Trained puppeteers present performances in elementary schools and the community with child size puppets to teach children what to do in tough life situations and how to get help. KOB performs to children Pre-K through 5th grade with skits on a variety of topics such as:

Miller Kids Workshop: Jewish Life and Folk Tales

Miller Museum of Jewish Art

The Sherman Miller Museum of Jewish Art will offer a special kids program, "Jewish Life and Folk Tales", on Sunday, August 4, from 1-2pm.
Join them for an hour of exploring the Alexander Kanchik exhibit in this interactive workshop for children. A quest through the exhibit will put the children’s minds to work as they explore the world of Kanchik’s art.
The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art is at 2021 East 71st Street Tulsa.
