October 1 is T(rash)-Day for residents in the City of Tulsa.
City of Tulsa residents have been bracing themselves for this day and come Monday will be expected to change their refuse-tossing ways.

This is a friendly advisement that next week your trash pickup will occur one day later than expected (except for residnts in the NW quadrant).
Because of the Labor Day holiday trash service will run one day later than your scheduled pick up day. Here's how it will work.

Tulsa's new trash service doesn't actually begin until October 1 and the current contact ends on June 30; in the interim, Tulsa residents will still need to have their garbage collected.
