New Website OklahomaGives Aids Nonprofits and Volunteers in Disaster Relief

The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits has launched a new website to help nonprofits and supporters share their stories of support, communicate needs and show that Oklahoma is truly one of the greatest and most generous states in the country.

The website will provide useful information about relief efforts in Moore and Shawnee, along with helpful guidance for nonprofits and supporters to come together and be "OK Strong!"

If your nonprofit organization* is providing any of the following:

  • Direct care or relief to residents in the area
  • Food, shelter or immediate services to those affected
  • A collection or drop-off point for necessary supplies
  • Volunteer coordination
  • Long-term assistance for families or businesses affected
  • Other services to help those in need

Please contact Lindsey Fry at The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits, and she will place your requests for assistance on the Oklahoma Gives site, as well as social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

*Organizations must have a 501c3 designation and be registered with the Oklahoma Secretary of State.
