The ability to vote is a hard-won right for nations and peoples throughout the world. If you are a United States citizen, at least 18 years old and a resident of Oklahoma, then you are eligible to register to vote.

How do you register to vote?
The Oklahoma Voter Registration Application is what you use to:
  • Register to vote for the first time in Oklahoma
  • Change your address for voter registration in Oklahoma
  • Change your name
  • Change your political affiliation
You can register in person at the Tulsa County Election Board, 555 N. Denver Avenue (one mile north of Central Library) or mail an application to the County Election Board. After you mail in the application, you cannot vote until you receive a Voter Card from the County Election Board. Your Voter Card will tell you where your polling place is. A polling place is where you go to vote and is based on your home address and will be the closest location to your home where people in your neighborhood go to vote. Polling places are usually in a public school building or church.
The General Election (Presidential Election) is November 6 this year. The last day to register in person at the County Election Board is October 12. If you mail in your application be sure to allow for mail delivery time, otherwise you could miss out.
For more information, please contact the Election Board at (918) 596-5780.
