The Tulsa City-County Library offers a variety of programs and services for everyone. On this page you’ll find programs for adults on everything from health and education to finances and technology. You’ll also see information about our outreach services including our amazing Bookmobile! Don’t miss our fantastic teen programming like anime and manga clubs and even homework help. Did you know we have a seed library too? There’s so much to explore and learn at the library!
You check out seeds (up to five packets) and grow your garden. Save seed from the best plants and return it to the library for others.
All of our seeds are open-pollinated and most are heirloom. We strive to foster locally adapted varieties and by saving seeds you make them even more locally adapted. Seed saving does take a little bit of know how but we try to make it simple for you. Seeds are ranked by ease of seed-saving and we have lots of tips, links, and books for you to learn more.
You can browse the collections at nine locations or look at our online catalog.
Digital Literacy Lab
The American Electric Power Foundation Digital Literacy Lab is a creator-focused working space for the customers of Tulsa City-County Library that was opened in October of 2016. Library visitors may use the Digital Literacy Lab to develop new apps and software skills, try out new pieces of equipment, digitize family history, and more. We provide Orientations twice monthly for the Digital Literacy Lab, along with special programs and classes throughout the year geared towards all ages.
The Maker Space provides our visitors a place to work on their next great idea, develop a new skill, or learn a new hobby in a supportive environment. We provide monthly orientations for most of the major equipment that the space provides, along with special programming throughout the year geared towards adults, teens and children.
