Please search MOBIUS and/or Prospector for items not found in our catalog.

TCCL has millions of items, but we don’t have everything!  If you don’t find an item that you’re looking for we now have two options for borrowing it from other libraries within the U.S. – Mobius and Prospector.

1. Mobius

Mobius is a regional consortium of libraries that share material and TCCL is now a member of Mobius.

 Mobius items are:

  • Free – There is no cost to you!
  • Fast – Get your books in a few days!
  • Easy- Like placing a regular hold!

If an item you’re looking for is not available in the Tulsa City-County Library catalog, try MOBIUS.  A click on the MOBIUS button will automatically begin the search for your item in the MOBIUS catalog.

Find your item in MOBIUS?  By following these three quick steps:

  1. Click the request button,
  2. Choose TCCL and then your local branch for pickup
  3. Enter your username and pin

You have placed a hold on the item as if you were placing a hold for an item in our catalog and you can track the hold in your account.

2. Prospector

If your item is not found in the Tulsalibrary.org or Mobius catalogs, you can also search Prospector. A click on the Prospector button (located within the Mobius catalog) will continue the search for your specific item in the Prospector catalog.

Find your item in Prospector?  By following these three quick steps:

  1. Click the request button,
  2. Choose TCCL and then your local branch for pickup
  3. Enter your username and pin

You have placed a hold on the item as if you were placing a hold for an item in our catalog and you can track the hold in your account.

3. ArticleReach Direct

ArticleReach Direct is a global consortium of academic and public libraries that share journal articles between the members.

If you have found an article you want and TCCL does not have it digitally or in print, you can try ArticleReach.

Just follow these steps to request an article:

  1. Identify an article that you want to request.  Record as much information as possible about the article, including article title, journal title, date of publication, page numbers, ISSN.
  2. Click the ArticleReach Direct Request Form link found on the Borrow from Outside TCCL webpage.
  3. On the next screen, enter your first and last name, and your complete library card number, click Submit.
  4. Fill out the article request form with all available information about the article and click Submit.  (Requests with minimal information may not be filled.)
  5. You will be notified by email when the article is available.  A link within the email will provide access to the article.  If no library can fill the request, you will be notified by email that the request was cancelled and a reason will be included in the message.
