Mission
We are a women's service organization, dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and securing America's future through better education, consisting of over 175,000 members in 3,000 chapters across the world. We are involved in numerous veteran and active military initiatives as our support of the crew of the USS Tulsa is an excellent example. American history activities include celebrating commemorative events, maintaining several local historic monuments and participating in and promoting area events as relates to Tulsa and Oklahoma history.
