Mission
Tulsa Glassblowing School’s mission is two-fold:
1) Empower self-esteem and promote positive change in the lives of vulnerable youth and adults within the Tulsa Community through participation in the unique creative processes of glass art.
2) Enrich the cultural experience in the Tulsa Community through exposure to a variety of glass art disciplines via education, instruction, and promotion of glass art including opportunities to observe nationally renowned visiting glass artists.
Programs and Services
TGS provides outreach programming to youth, military veterans and first responders. TGS is an open access studio that welcomes the general public to observe and/or experience the unique qualities of glass art. TGS offers Summer Workshop Series (3) which bring nationally or internationally renowned glass artists to Tulsa to teach weeklong workshops which attract participants from across the country inviting them to explore all that Tulsa has to offer.
Children must be at least 7 ears old to participate in the Hot Glass Experiences. Everyone is welcome to visit during business hours to watch artists at work.
