Discover new cultures at the library during World in a Box Day

Families can explore and learn about cultures from around the globe during “World in a Box Day” Aug. 4, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in Central Library’s Pocahontas Greadington Learning and Creativity Center, Fifth Street and Denver Avenue.

Enjoy live performances, see vibrant dances and participate in hands-on activities for all ages through the Tulsa Global Alliance Cultural Box Program. By visiting each country’s booth, participants will have their passport stamped to show their imaginations have traveled around the world.

After the event, all ages are encouraged to complete TCCL’s summer reading program, which ends Aug. 4. It’s the final day to submit reading logs and receive coupons for free food and entertainment around Tulsa County.

For more information on TCCL’s programming, call the AskUs Hotline, 918-549-7323, or visit, www.tulsalibrary.org.
