Just in time for the Holiday season is a new book from Leann Smith, “The Magic Christmas Key.” Smith will sign copies during a special unveiling at Nielsens Gifts, 8138 A S. Lewis Ave., Oct. 17, 2-8 p.m. Families will enjoy milk and cookies as they listen to a reading from Smith.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Smith’s book during the signing benefit the Tulsa Library Trust, the foundation supporting the Tulsa City-County Library. The first-edition hardcover books includes a pewter “magic key” in a keepsake box.
“The Magic Christmas Key” follows Andy on an adventure that starts with the gift of Santa’s Magic Key. Andy’s grandfather asks Andy to keep the key safe. But Andy, in spite of good intentions, allows the magic key to get into the hands of others. The fun loving chaos that ensuses requires Andy to be honest and brave, leading him to Santa Claus himself. Andy learns that indeed, all things are possible when you believe.
