Paper Airplane Fly-Off Set to Soar at Schusterman-Benson Library

Soar into an early spring with the “Paper Airplane Fly-Off,” Feb. 3, 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Schusterman-Benson Library, 3333 E. 32nd Place. This free event is for ages 5-12.

Learn new designs, such as the Arrow, Dart, Hoop Glider and Whirlybird, or create your own aerodynamic marvel.  There will be books on various designs to help with the precision folding.  Special prizes will be awarded for distance and design.

“This is a great opportunity to get your child involved with science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) at your library,” said Stacy Morehead, Schusterman-Benson youth librarian.  “Children will have an awesome time folding, flying and racing their creations as they learn valuable educational foundations.”
