For those times when you don’t have a minute to spare, TCCL offers curbside pickup of your requested library materials on hold.

In 2018, the library began offering curbside delivery for hold items at Hardesty Regional and Schusterman-Benson libraries. Similar to local restaurants and grocery stores, customers have a designated parking space where they can pull in, call the number on the sign and have their materials delivered directly to their vehicle by library staff. They are also welcome to return items while there as well. Later this year, there are plans to expand the service to additional TCCL locations.

“Customers have been thrilled with the new service, especially those with mobility problems and those with young children who are able to pick up books and materials without having to fumble with car seats and strollers,” said Kimberly Johnson, TCCL CEO. “Offering a service that so closely is related to how people are utilizing other businesses and offerings in their daily lives is helping keep our library relevant by removing barriers to service and offering conveniences like never before.”

Curbside holds pickup is available Monday-Thursday, 1-6 p.m. at two TCCL locations:

·         Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St.

·         Schusterman-Benson Library, 3333 E. 32nd Place
