March 13, 2024 - Join us for space activities and crafts as we safely watch the solar eclipse at the Broken Arrow Library, 300 W. Broadway, April 8, 12:30-2:30 p.m. A limited supply of solar eclipse glasses will be available for viewing at the event.
All ages can enjoy creating sidewalk chalk shadow art, face painting, photos with Buddy Bookworm, refreshments and touring the Bookmobile.
The Tulsa area will experience a 95 percent eclipse magnitude, occurring around 1:49 p.m. The next total eclipse to cross the US will not be until August 12, 2045.

TCCL also will feature eclipse activities at these libraries.
- “Take-and-Make Solar Eclipse Crafts,” All day event at Pratt Library, 3219 S. 113th W. Ave. Stop by and pick up a take-and-make solar eclipse kit, coloring sheet or bookmark, and a guide on how to make your own eclipse viewer from everyday items.
- South Broken Arrow Library, 3600 S. Chestnut, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Join us for a variety of fun activities related to the near-total solar eclipse. Light refreshments provided.
