An online resource accessed through the library, Learning Express is a one-stop shop for practice tests, exercises, skill-building courses, eBooks, and other information to enhance your career. Take self-paced full-length practice tests in each GED subject area. You'll get detailed answer explanations for every question and score reports that will help you understand what your strengths and weaknesses are so that you can study more effectively!

Offers online instructor-led noncredit classes to prepare you for the GED.  This course includes test tips, strategies, exercises, assignments and practice tests.

Food Safety Training

All area food service employees must have an original, valid food employee permit from the Tulsa Health Department (THD) in their possession while at work. To receive a permit, you must successfully complete a THD Food Safety Training Class.

If you completed the course online, you can log-in to your account and reprint at any time for free.The Health Department inspector will accept screenshots and paper copies. Duplicate original permits can be obtained at the James O. Goodwin Health Center for $5.

Food Protection Services hosts food handler training classes on any digital device with internet access. From training to testing, the online food safety class is available in many languages and can be taken anytime.

If you do not have access to a computer, tablet, or phone with internet to complete the online training, the Tulsa Health Department has computer kiosks available for public use between 8am - 2pm Monday through Friday at the following locations:
