Mission
TCE is a 501c3 non-profit organization that aims to support Tulsa’s creative community by championing artists and musicians as entrepreneurs, and expanding the ecosystem of resources to help them thrive. Our core values are Community, Artistic Expression, Diversity and Wellness.
We believe Tulsa can be a city where creative talent is nurtured, where artists thrive as full-time entrepreneurs, and where creatives are invested in for the economic and cultural value they bring. So far our work has focused on providing artists resources like space for community and collaboration, professional development programs, network of connections to industry leaders and opportunities to perform and highlight their work.
Programs and Services
- Frequency: Monthly mixer for creatives, entrepreneurs, Innovators, and local leaders
- Select Showcase: Monthly Showcase highlighting top talent across genres
- Groundwaves: An open mic event and mentorship session designed to develop talent in local hip-hop scenes
- Spark Studios: A community-centered recording studio in downtown Tulsa that provides affordable access to high quality recording space and engineers, and a space to gather and work creatively.
- Spark Summit: An annual conference across tech, music, art, and entrepreneurship that incorporates panel conversations, professional development workshops, keynotes, networking for artists, entrepreneurs, and technologists industry, as well as an opportunity for visual and musical artists to showcase their work
- Music Business Accelerator: A 6-week artist development program that provides educational modules, creative support and entrepreneurial training for top talent, with local & national workshop instructors and mentors to participate in programming. Artists receive a $5K grant to invest in their work.
Additional services include; support for artist-led events, talent booking for musicians and creatives across our events and programs, visual arts support, and mental health content.
