Parking for Central Library

PARKING GARAGE GATES AND PROCEDURES ARE CHANGING SOON. 

In an effort to provide a better experience for our customers, we are updating the equipment, payment options and procedures for the Central Library parking garage. Check back here for the most up-to-date information. 

EQUIPMENT CHANGES:

Work to change the parking equipment begins on Monday, Oct. 14 and should take about 2 weeks. While work is in progress, the parking garage will remain open, but access will be restricted to one entry and exit location on either Fourth Street or Fifth Street (shown as red stars on the map).

PAYMENT OPTIONS: 

Once the equipment changes are complete, additional payment options will be available including a walk-up parking payment kiosk inside Central Library and mobile pay from your phone. Cash payments will no longer be accepted at the exit gates in the parking garage. Parking rates will remain the same and are listed below. 

PROCEDURE UPDATES:

• Parking is available for library customers only. Courthouse parking is not allowed. 
• Payment and procedures will be strictly enforced. 
• Vehicles not using the garage for library parking will be towed at owner’s expense.

Central Library Parking Rates

Parking is free for the first two (2) hours.

Overnight parking is not allowed and there is no access to the garage after hours. The garage closes at 9 p.m. Mon - Thu, 8 p.m. Fri & Sat and 5 p.m. Sun.

3. Parking Meters - West Side of Courthouse, 2 hours maximum
