Central Library highlights hip-hop’s artistic achievements through poetry, music and dance

   Discover the contributions of the hip-hop culture when TCCL presents a series of programs featuring local artists, demonstrations and dances.     Throughout April and May, Central Library, Fifth St. and Denver Ave., features the display “Idea Box: Hip-Hop.” Designed as an audio and visual experience, the display includes interactive DJ equipment as well as art created by local artists from the Black Moon Collective and Clean hands.

TCCL’s Central Library selected as Tulsa’s Best Place to Learn Something New

  The votes are in and Tulsan’s say their Central Library is the city’s Best Place to Learn Something New. The Tulsa Voice handed out the Library’s Best of Tulsa Award today. The local publication has been collecting votes and handing out the Best of Tulsa designations since 2015. Thousands of ballots and tens of thousands of individual votes are cast each year by local residents to decide which businesses and organizations take the top title.
