TCCL presents Novel Talk as part of adult summer reading program
TCCL continues the “Novel Talk: Smart Conversations for Serious Readers” series with “The Future is Now,” June 4, 7 p.m. in Central Library’s Pocahontas Greadington Learning and Creativity Center, Fifth Street and Denver Avenue.
Using Philip K. Dick’s classic “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” examine how the sci-fi genre envisions the past, present and future, and what fictional premonitions say about technological, societal and environmental realities of today.
